We have successfully completed a £5m refurbishment to The Meadows Retail Park in the heart of Chelmsford.
An A1 class unit approx. 1055sq m previously occupied by Argos which H.A Marks completed refurbishment and new build works to convert into Four A3 units over 2 Floors with a New Glazed Extension.
The works involved:
- Strip Out Internal Strip out and Sub division works with New Acoustic Floors Installed. New Drainage and alterations to existing layouts. New Steel Fire Exit Staircase installed for the 4 New units finished with Brick External finish.
- External Façade Alteration New Aluminium Windows installed back to SFS. Brickwork and a Bronze Standing Seam cladding fixed back with helping Hands and Rails onto SFS.
- Steel frame Extension to front elevation including a Curtain Walling front entrance. Internal Stair and lift constructed for access to the 1st floor units and balconies.
- Renewal of Building Services Electrical Distribution, Emergency lighting, heating, Small Power, Fire detection and Alarm System.
- New Roof, plant deck and associated plant installation.
